Facilitating Turkish Companies’ Access to Finance in the UAE

Since 2004, the Turkish Business Council in Dubai and the Northern Emirates (TBC) has been guiding the Turkish business community in strengthening its presence across the UAE. Among the most crucial factors for this impact are access to finance and navigating key processes such as company establishment. To advance these goals, strategic agreements and collaborations with reputable partners in the region play a vital, accelerating role.

Roke’s main objective was to effectively announce a strategic agreement—designed to support Turkish companies in establishing operations in the UAE—through the right channels in Türkiye.

Our Approach:
  • Crafting the Story: While Dubai is a recognized global business hub, a single story is rarely enough to motivate media participation in a press trip. The main narrative—centered on the agreement—was enriched with additional key visits, including meetings with Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers of Commerce, and Lutfullah Goktas, Türkiye’s Ambassador to the UAE. These additions offered journalists deeper insights and exclusive reporting opportunities, increasing the appeal of the trip.
  • Designing an Experience: A well-structured press trip strengthens relationships between journalists and hosts. With this in mind, the entire program—hosted by TBC—was designed not just as a series of meetings, but as a complete experience, including careful selections from airline partnerships to curated dinners.
  • Targeted Media Selection: To ensure maximum impact, we selected media outlets and journalists based on their influence and engagement with the Turkish business ecosystem.
Key Outcomes:
  • 9mln+ Potential Impression w/ 82 Mentions: Over the course of the four-day press trip, TBC’s visibility increased significantly. Coverage included 13 unique articles and reports, including special features and TV interviews across major outlets such as Milliyet, CNBC-e, A Para, Dünya, and PatronlarDunyasi.com. With additional digital mentions, total media coverage reached 82 mentions, and potential impressions exceeded 9 million.
  • Maximized Media Coverage: Thanks to a well-curated program and compelling content, the press trip resulted in expanded media exposure. Additional opinion pieces and reports helped amplify TBC’s strategic messages and extended their reach to broader, business-oriented audiences.
